What about a furniture dolly? You could then just roll it....If you don’t have carpet. I moved my 220gal on a dolly with ease.

If you do have carpet, could you just slide it?

Ive never personally used those, I usually just ask some friends or a neighbor for a helping hand.

Just placed an order for two sets of FCHO Glass Suction Cups Heavy Duty Aluminum Vacuum Plate Handle Glass Holders which should be plenty to move this BEAST!! I will be making a video on how it went in my 10 part series of episodes for my 150 build on my new YouTube channel...

I used 4 of those on a 180
Just make sure you have good suction
And they don’t slide before you fully lift

They sell very similar ones at harbor freight. They will slide. The ones with the pumps are much better. But for a tank that size couldn't you just carry it? I would imagine 2 able bodied guys could move that? I have a 150 48x30x24 and me and one buddy moved it no problem.

Suction Cups make tank moving so easy.

Here is a link to another option. We have found these to be a great value for the price.

Hope things go perfectly on your move.

I used forearm forklifts, from home depot. We used 4 of them with 8 people to move my RSR 3XL 900. I HIGHLY SUGGEST THESE FOR MOVING TANKS. Couldn't have been easier. Especially at the stairs. The people at the back just held the strap lower, so the tank was higher.

I used 4 of those and my guys had no issue with same size tank. Just make sure your tank and cups are clean. I wiped them with a damp lint free cloth and they worked fine.

I have 2 sets of these and have moved a ton of tanks with them. Just make sure the glass and the suction cups are clean. I haven't had them slide at all.

I used four of those for a 240 pound tank. They were marginal and close to their lifting capacity at 60# each. I'd recommend the 8" with the pumps for anything that heavy or heavier.

Mine are rated for 220lbs. Which, I assume is per pair. I used 4 on a 180g tank and they were fine. I was doing pull-ups using them when I got them. I stuck to the heavy ductwork in my old basement and they held me and I'm 185lbs.
