I have seen so many threads on this question. I have a pair of clownfish. I have wanted a lionfish ever since I found out there is such a thing as saltwater tanks. Can i keep a small lionfish with them? Maybe a fu manchu?

Sorry for the stupid question lol

what tanks do you have going maybe you could combine and have an empty one for a predator? or pick up a 40b and plumb it into your current one if you only have one?

A Small Dwarf would be ok

BUT....

Lions WILL eat anything they can fit in their mouth, no matter their size! So, this is a YES with EXTREME caution. Really depends on the size of your clowns.

do a little bit of research and see if plumbing a second tank is something you could do. could use it as refugium as well and just pack it with macros and then fu manchu or a scorp

what kinda 65 gal did you get lol

could just put up a divider. scorps will eat literally everything including other scorps so unless its confined by itself its a no-go

Although a dwarf lion will be compatible, keep in mind " Any fish that can fit in anothers' mouth. . Sooner or Later Will.

Just read up what you like. People gamble with fish all the time. Angelfish being the big one.
Lionfish all of them. Will eat snails, hermits, shrimp, and whatever else is the size of its head.

when you say dwarf lion, do you also mean zebra and fluffy lions? Dont they get large?
Most dwarfs are 3-5" captive. Fuzzy, dwarf, fu Manchu and zebra are examples.
