LIRA's June 2018 Meeting, 6/1/2018
Hi Everyone,
The Long Island Reef Association's (LIRA) June 2018 meeting will be on Friday, 6/1/2018.

Speaker: Tullio Dellaquila
Topic: Lighting. "A Matter of Light".
Time: 7:45pm
Location: Acan Lighting Office

Tullio's presentation, "A Matter of Light", is a scientific look at aquarium lighting when comparing light sources. It debunks many of the topics regarding lighting like Kelvin, Wattage, PAR and more. Tullio will bring meters to the meeting, including Spectrometer to demonstrate during the presentation.

Note:
Don't miss our meeting in June. After June's meeting we take a break for the summer and resume meetings again in October. Typically Family Fun Day will be at the Long Island Aquarium in August followed by a collection trip in September. Will post more details on these 2 events once a plan and schedule is finalize.
