Those are Aiptasia pest anemones, a nuisance anemone with a powerful sting that spreads like wildfire. How old is the tank? It looks like those came in on that candy cane.

Looks like Aptasia or some kind of glass anemone. These are invasive pests. Need to remove/kill as much as possible. I personally use kelkwasser mixed to a think paste. Suck it up in a syringe and put a blob over them when I see them.

I’m fighting it myself. Just went through the tank with F Aiptasia but unfortunately, it doesn’t work well if gravity is fighting you.

Aiptasiax worked for me with 2 peppermint shrimp. Key is that you need to cover the mouth 1st, then cover rest of it.

Tanks been running for about 4 months. Acro came in about 5 days ago.

I believe this person is talking about using a product such as aiptasia X by Red Sea, which you squirt on top of the anemone and kills it. I think your best bet to deal with them would be a peppermint shrimp or two. If any large ones remain, inject them with lemon juice and you should be done.

You have to “feed” the aiptasia the aiptasia x. You can’t just squirt it all over. It has to cover the whole mouth of it.

It's an anemone, the center of the tentacles is its mouth. The aiptasiax comes with a syringe, carefully squirt a little into the mouth, it will then retract and shrink, then cover the rest of it with the aiptasiax
