Little Red Thing, Pls Help

This is the furtherest it would come out, when I would move it would retract. Please help ID so I know if it is bad or not. I couldn't get any better footage unfortunately.

I tried to upload the video but it wouldn't work.

This is not a red bug. Just a feather duster. I've never even seen this variety spread much.

A red bug is a tiny crustacean, much smaller than this, that walks all over the place (especially all over your favorite acropora). This duster retracts into his tube and reappears in the same place.

Are you sure not ‘red bugs’? Look just south east of the prominent red thing
It looks like a bit of coraline algae. Or deformed red bug.

But the one in the tube, is a filter feeder, harmless. The little blotch below, it could be several things.

Could be planaria, but could be nothing too. If it’s planaria, there’ll be more.

They'll have to keep an eye out. Photos have little detail a lot of the times. If it moves, I would worried. It it keeps there. Algae.

Take pictures. The pests you have expressed concern about are motile. They will not be in the same place later today.

The spots are Spirorbid worms, filter feeders. The red crowned one is a harmless tube worm.
