Glad you enjoy!
I did add some asterinas already, same with some bristleworms. Currently I'm on the hunt for some green manjanos. Maybe some 'ugly' brown palys too lol.

They're a pretty common hitchhiker from what I read. Mostly from indopacific rock I think.
I began to see some instances of this too after looking harder. Any idea what species?

I wonder if you could keep some sort of flat worm or pest deemed sea slug? I know many are seen as a pest, although I also know many are unethical to keep. A shame really, they are so beautiful. I can’t say I know much on them though.

That is awesome to hear! How big have they gotten? Biggest I saw was about a month ago at a friends tank. It was about the size of a dime. I know that’s where they tend to max out, but let me know if you get any monsters!

I'd have to see it in full to properly ID, but it's definitely the smashing type. It was very active today, lots of clacking lol. I think it's dug itself a little cave beneath the big rock on the right.

Most of the asterinas are pretty small, but there's a bigger blue-ish one. I bought them as feeder starfish, so I don't know if that's even an asterina or some other species. Looks cool either way. I just hope it doesn't grow any bigger.

It's a pity that sending live animals is frobidden from Hungary, I would send you some hydroids. :smiling-face-with-halo: I still have few visible spots and who knows how many hidden. :worried-face:

Because of health & job reasons, I had to change a few things with my aquariums. Downsized a few, simplified others, got rid of some.

The pest tank included.

I didn't completely get rid of it all though, just moved livestock to my 15g 'main' tank.

Aiptasia and manjano are now part of this. Insane maybe, but I'm not worried about them tanking anything. Been a few weeks, everyone is staying in their place, and happy.

Good thing is, most of the stocking in this tank I got from friends and other hobbyists, so if the manjanos or aiptasia nuke anything I'm not losing money. Again, I don't anticipate that.

One thing that unfortunately did get 'nuked' is my caulerpa. Thanks, emerald crab. :upside-down-face:

Some ppl would still consider this a pest tank probably, with the gsp, xenia, anthelia, kenya trees, Erythropodium caribaeorum, and some of the macroalgae.

so far hasn't made a dent in the hermit crab population. the dove snails are suspiciously absent though... :thinking-face:

I added more caulerpa. C. racemosa this time. A lot of it too, so hopefully the emerald crab (hopefully) can't eat all of it faster than it grows.

The xenia is growing nicely. It split into 3 or 4 colonies and is pulsing away.

And finally, the manjano split in two!

The true horror of this tank is the Hypnea. Every week I harvest a good handful of it, and every small piece that breaks away grows into a new colony. I love how it looks but it can be a real pain in the butt.

Two days ago I added a tailspot blenny, and named him Tony. Tony the Tailspot blenny. :')
