No sir, since I spatchcocked it to reduce cook time. Mrs is making tons of sides but my favorite it's the chorizo stuffing it's bomb! I'll post more picks

Spatchcocked a Cornish hen myself, last night. Love the even cook.

That looks great! Never thought to spatch one up in a bed of veggies, does it turn out kind of like a roast?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! We are just killing time until two dinners with two different sides of the family!!!

Sort of? Veggies were fork tender but not too soft. The potatoes weren't sliced all the way through, so they fanned open and were rubbed with olive oil, salt , pepper and cheddar between the slices.
Baked covered for 35 @ 400F then another 30 uncovered.

After having hosted 18 last year we decided to take it easy....



Only company this year is a couple new friends that got in town yesterday...

Absolutely. My wife was just feeding leftover turkey to the cats while I was trying to get my fish and eel to eat as much as they will.
I figure if it’s a day to eat extra everyone in the house gets to eat extra too
