I don’t have room for a tank! I need something slim. I’m sick of this odd ato I’m using now. It’s only 5 gallons and we have to fill it every 3-4 days for our 125.

Build your own. I built mine to fit the space available in the stand.

That’s super neat! What did you use? Acrylic pieces? What should I use for a lid? I wouldn’t even know how to go about making a Hole to fill it or one to leave the ato hose in!

Yeah, I used 6mm acrylic to make the ATO reservoir and lid.

I don't remove the lid to fill it. I put a float valve in the reservoir and then just run a 25' water line to my RODI filter. When the tank is full the float valve shuts off the water. I never have to carry any water and never overfills/floods. Cheap and easy.

Okay what did you use to cut it? I would need a lid because mine will be outside, next to the tank, don’t want particles and stuff getting in it. What would be best to cut a small hole for the ato line?

I used a table saw to cut the acrylic. A step drill bit and hole saws work really well to drill holes, regular drill bits can catch and crack acrylic. Mine has a lid made from acrylic, but I never have to touch it.

That's kind of my point, what's the inside of your stand look like? Can you mount an ATO to the stand? If you're just looking for a rectangle to hold water, trigger makes some pretty nice ATO reservoir.
