Im looking into setting up a 75 gallon reef tank. More then likely ill have to use a hang on back over flow to sump it. Is there a leak detection device that will just turn the pump off, thats not the Apex. I dont have 600+ dollars for one of them im thinking 150 to 200. If not might just go back the old way hang on back fliter.

Apex is the way to go and you can get the "EL" version for $500 new and finance thru affirm which is fairly easy to get approval for about $45 a month. A small payment for all the access and functions it will afford you including ALD leak detection
