So my sump came with 2 7" so holes. Running it on an 80 gallon tank, a 50 microm sock fills in 1.5 days. A 200 micron sock doesn't overflow after 4 days. Due to this, a second sock is just added washing. Basically, I want to plug 1 hole and keep the other running.

I have designed a top section that is bigger thank the hole and 7mm high and has a hole i can glue a piece of pvc into as an overflow. The bottom has small enough to drop in the hole and 8mm high. It has a hole the width of the inner diameter of the pvc.

I am planning to print in PETG and use superglue to bond the pvc and petg. What infill do you think is required for this to weight down? Do I need to buy a 7" orange to put in the bottom to seal it off? Any tips?

Myself, I'd run 2x 100-micron socks and get a week between changes. I'd just put an O-ring around the base so that it's not a permanent seal (in case you want to remove it down the road).

Agreed. I just planned on gravity holder it in place. I do not plan on gluing it to the sump.
