And that sucks u got the bad stars iv got them to but they only eat coraline algie and calcified green but glad u got good peppermint mine never touched aptashia and instead ate my zoas

Not nessiasasry at all for stability or coralline at all

Expessially in a 32 bio cube look at mine nothing more then 10 gallon water changes ever 2 weeks and a filter pad replacement every 7 days that's it

Small tanks have the advantage of easy cheap water changes

Do not do as I do but look at the latest pics for proof I don't dose anything heck I have not tested anything in the tank at all except salinity for over a year and a half just monitor food inaer change 10 gal every 2 weeks filter pad and done you do not need all this fancy stuff to have a nice tank

To the op as a newer person start with the basics and easy to keep stuff get you feet wet and then go from there

It is! Its my first reef tank too and zoas just do something. 11 months tons of coralline now. Slowly it stays stable

That is my fungia plate. 3 inches across for 100 bucks so not the cheapest but super easy and nice!

Oh wait you mean my zoas. Those are Gatorade zoas and wwc purple monsters!
