I run Hydra 52 HDs and Gen 4 Pros - both grow corals fine but so do the black box LEDs for .25% of the cost. With either of these options you will need three of them. You may consider a par meter as well and remember if your considering an apex there may be some issues with it under reporting the amount of blue light.

I'll probably be selling them. Great lights, but I like to change things and I couldn't stop adjusting my lights. I need less control.

If I was starting fresh, the Orphek's would get a hard look. The review BRS did was pretty flattering. I kinda ruled them out because no one seemed to carry them.
