So wait I just noticed on an older post you said if the planted site calls for 1gram of sodium nitrate to use 16% of that. I made a batch of 1 teaspoon in 20ml of water. Whats 16% of 1 teaspoon? How would I measure that?

16%? Doesn't sound familiar.

What are you doing?

16% less means use 84% of the recommended amount. If you use a little less than the recommended amount (either less solid to mix the stock solution or less liquid dosed to the tank), it will work fine. :)

I feel REEF2REEF community should get you a gift card or something for everyone you’ve helped and continue to help! And if you think about it the amount of people that you’ve helped that then continue to help other people that they know

Thanks very much. Revhtree (owner of Reef2Reef) takes good care of me. :)
