Added a clean up crew to help clean up the live rock. From reeftopia. Everything was alive and accounted for upon arrival. They threw a few extra crabs and snails.

Friday means it’s time to run parameters. My trites continue to drop and trates are risining. Still have some ammonia so I’m guessing another week before the tank is cycled.

I added some two part to get my Alk and calcium in line. My mag is below 1200 so I ordered some.

Did a 25% water change today cleaned two out of the three chambers in the back. There was a lot of detrus back there. I left the fuge alone but know the bottom has some gunk.

any way should be ready for livestock next week.

last week. Wonder if it’s from all the coraline on the live rock?

Big update. Got some live stock and the pkm for my apex.

I will do a full report on the par meter but The top rock was 275. The sand was 110

Ran all my par numbers today. probably gonna need to update my lights sooner if I want sps corals anywhere.

No I added 2 12” 21leds actinics on either side of the stock lighting.

i went topless. Ended up getting a radion blue. Very happy so far with the light. Using ab+ schedule for now.

my rock scape fell in front of my eyes today I caught the top rock before it hit the glass.

We've got a pretty similar build! What do you plan on doing for a skimmer? If you decide to run one id recommend the aquamaxx hob 1.5 with the bioload you've got.

I’m not planning on a skimmer just yet but will check out the aquamaxx how long did it take to break in. If I can manage my parameters with water changes and dosing I will probably stick with that.

It only took me about a day or two to get a slime coat on the skimmer neck and its been smooth sailing ever since

corals Look like they are progressing. Not sure if the white blue sps will make it after it was crushed by a rock.
