Glad to hear she is eating. They are slow eaters. And other fish can easily finish off the food before they get much. There are lots of ideas out there for making sure they get their share of the food. Beautiful.

Indeed. I used to have mandarins in my first tank. They took FOREVER to decide which brine shrimp to eat. Lol. Hopefully she will find plenty of pods when she gets into the display. :)

Update on the fish! All are still alive and well. The only one not really showing interest in food yet is the Twistii wrasse. But I’m going to give him another day or two before I try live food because he has a bit of an injured jaw, which is looking better now. Also put some nori sheets in the tank and the fox face grazed all day on it.

Awesome!! Any issues with ammonia? Are you up to therapeutic copper levels?

No issues with ammonia. Haven’t started copper yet. I always start with prazipro unless one of them has a disease that needs copper ASAP

This foxface is awesome. The spot on the left side is like two spots overlapping. It’s really cool and unique

Update, the Twistii wrasse did not make it, but I expected this outcome. It only ate once the whole time I’ve had it and it had a damaged jaw when I received it. Everyone else is thriving though !

The new fish are in the tank!!! Everyone else made it through qt well. They got one round of prazipro, and several days of cuppramine at 0.5 ppm. They were fed frozen food with metro and kanaplex for two weeks.
Here’s some pics!

Anthias school and a lonely chromis who is schooling with them. Haha

Also my foxface

This is the coolest foxface! It has a heart on one side I stead of a dot!!

I will get more pics of the other fish later. They are a little shy right now.

Well bad news.... my cat somehow amazingly (she’s smart) removed ALL of my egg crate lids on my tank last night. I woke up to my kitty happily prancing around with my Bella Goby. She was so proud of herself and just purring her heart out while I was yelling at her. Lol. Cats don’t ever think they do anything wrong. Luckily that’s the only fish she got and my prized wrasses are still in the tank :) Well... im off to fix some lids!!!

Sorry to hear that!! I acquired one ungrateful but adorable cat when I got married. My wife and I agreed I never make her get rid of the cat and she never makes me get rid of the tank. Somehow I end up taking care of both pets... still a victory?

Hello all! So yesterday I said I was going to reveal my new fish to everyone, so here I am with a pic of him! First of all, I just want to say thank you to @ajslentz for trading with me. You were a pleasure to work with and I couldn’t be happier!

Ok, i know you are all ready to see the fish, so here you go!! (Sorry for the film on the glass. My qt isn’t very pretty. Lol)

This is my black long nose tang (Z.Rostratum) !

This is that one special centerpiece fish in my aquarium that I’m going to name. Lol. I am naming him Pō , which is Hawaiian for night. As you probably know, they are exported from Hawaii, and his name means “night” in Hawaiian. :D
