Hi!

I have been saltwater aquarium keeping for over 16 years, and I'm studying in a coral parasite lab.
I used to give/get advice on reddit but I know this is where the community really shines. I'm not great with consistent posting but I'll try to be involved!

Welcome! Glad you joined and look forward to learning from you when you have time!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you in BC:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:

What is a coral parasite lab, (especially in BC)? I trust you will find a cure. :)

Whatever, but Welcome to Reef2Reef!
We study photosynthetic parasites, many of which are endoparasites that live in coral. It's mostly genomics though so I'm not a parasite expert. We study local parasites and those from around the world.
