Noticed my purple tang had these white almost spikey growths on different parts of his body. From the side they literally look like spikes like growths.
tang is at 4weeks QT. 2wks copper at 2.0,transferred to sterile QT, 2 rounds GC and just started metro due to anthias also in same tank showing signs of uronema.

I would do a FW Dip to rule out flukes. Its a little hard to tell by the pics but Lympho's look more like a wart.

I may do that. The other tang in QT and a black molly don’t have any signs of this. Literally look like little thorns sticking off him. Thought maybe it was early stages of lympho

I did the dip, nothing came off. The tips didnt seem as pointy afterwards but that's the only difference i noted. Didnt like the dip and has been struggling since. Was probably my healthiest best eating fish in QT before the dip. These growths didnt seem to slow it down. I did notice it flashing a couple times like it was trying to remove them.

Only thing that has changed in the last week is i started adding Metro to treat suspected Uronema in a couple Anthias i also had in QT. These fish have all been through a couple rounds of GC which has Metro, so I dont see why this would be the issue. Here is another thread i found that looks similar https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/help-1-month-in-and-no-luck.508052/#post-5382392
I really dont want to lose this fish. Its been on my list for a while and I thought we were in the home stretch!

Yeah, you think so? Have you seen it start out as growths that almost come to a point? What was a little strange is after the FW bath they didnt seem as pronounced and were lying flatter on the skin and fins.

It resembles lympho but they aren’t the best photos, it would help to post a few more if can. Thanks

Easier said than done but here’s a few more. Almost looks like he has white whiskers on his lower side or got stuck by a cactus.
