Next was aquascaping with BRS pukani rock I acid washed, bleached and then cooked for the last 4 months or so.
I put the rock together after some chiseling with 3/8 acrylic rods and reef welder polymer.

Does anyone have any suggestions for securing the weir in place? I am concerned about the acrylic rods swelling over time.

I think you'll be OK, I might axe the firefish because one of the wrasse may not be OK with it. It could work fine, however. Add the foxface and tang together -- if you ever plan to add more tangs that would be the time to do it,also
