Thanks in advance for the help, my tank is over a year old, I started with a few fiji live rocks from my LFS. Than added carib sea life rock. A few months back i have this red algea im assuming? Growing ONLY on the fiji rock. LFS store says dont worry, but didnt really identify it, as a guess of "dragons breathe" macro algae, but couldn't say for sure. It is kind of soft and definitely does NOT scrub off with toothbrush. I have had cyano before and this is nothing like it. I do have a pretty bad green hair algea problem though my are all about 0, go figure? I did add a fluval sea marine light about 2 months ago and thats when the hair algea exploded. Any ideas what this red stuff maybe?
