Much too much focus on stable pH. The pH on the natural reef fluctuates substantially. As much as
8.2 - 7.8.

Low oxygen is the most important issue with insufficient circulation at the surface.
Thank you for that statement. I think it's interesting sometimes to look at the absolutely insane sps dominant TOTMs from the other place in years past that were done with Berlin method, halides, and 2 part. No CO2 scrubber or thousands in automated management chasing exact numbers. Keep it steady and within a defined set of parameters.

55G tank set up for one month with like rock 10 dpays removed from Gulf of Mexico. I will soon remove small hermits to evaluate how much curating needs to continue.

I need to pick you brain about how to fertilize a soon to be 180 gallon macro/mangrove lagoon I will be setting up for the wife. There has to be a way to do it cheaper and easier way than seachem stuff and the base nitrate/phosphate chemicals.

Beautiful rock! Man I wish I would have set mine up with lights when I got it. Came with pretty much every macro imaginable! Very nice.

I have never been able to grow Pandina and it has increased in size 10 fold in two weeks. Halymenia has also sprouted from nothing. Bortacladia is abundant but a slow grower.

I will soon transplant C. Prolifera into both of my display tanks. The 75G display has most of the best rock on this shipment of uncured rock.
