Making the switch to GHL (pre-sale questions)

I no longer have confidence in my current controller and have decided to make the switch. I have a quick pre-sale question.

I have an opportunity to buy an unopened ultimate set 5.1 at an excellent price. I understand the difference between the powerbars from the 5.1 and 6E, is there any other differences (i.e. the processer in the controller is slower or less capably or can't use the latest and greatest firmware)?

If it is a p4 or p4e then no there shouldn't be any other differences.
