Here is one of the smallest male crosshatch we've come across. If you know male crosshatch generally come in upwards of 8"-12". This one is about 5-6" and yes their price is inversely proportional to its size. It will be hard to not put this in our display! $1500 shipped!

Yes small male crosshatch are indeed hard to come by. This is because they grow to 6" in 6 months and to get to their area within 6 month of their birth is very rare. And not all sub 6" fish are male, as they are born "green" then change to male or female based on population density. So by the time they have decided to turn male they're often quite large already.
