Hey guys I love mantis shrimp and am starting my first nano reef tank. I've had 1 coral in it for a year now and just added a new one on 11-13-2020. I am looking for small inhabitants for my tank as well as some nice corals. and if possible some I.D. on my mantis shrimp.

tank info

gallons- 3

brand/name- https://dreamfishtanks.com/products..._content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic

lighting- I use the built-in lighting. I use the white red light setting in the day and the blue setting at night (the coral that has been in there for a year looks really healthy when fully extended.)

inhabitants-
one male mantis shrimp (size is 1-2 inches) (type-smasher) (I.D. unknown- if possible I would like to know) (area found florida keys)
one starfish (I.D. unknown- if possible I would like to know)
one pencil sea urchin
one mini feather-duster tube worm
one mountain dew toadstool coral (been in the tank for a year)
and one flower tree coral (I think it is a flower tree coral but if it's not pls tell me the I.D.)

@Ron Reefman may be able to help

Then again... maybe not. I've never kept a mantis shrimp. We see them often when we snorkel in the Keys. But they dart and hide so fast, usually all we catch is something moving incredibly fast and going under a big rock or down a hole!

To the OP: It's cool that you got one. BTW, you said,"... the little guy fell out of a piece of rok i was collecting ..." Where were you collecting rock? Just be very careful. Collecting any live rock out of any saltwater in the State of Florida is illegal and a small rock can get you a big fine if you're caught by the FWC. Know your regulations. Even small infractions can get you really steep fines!
