I came home to find out that most of my fish died

The fish that died:

1 ocellaris clownfish
1 royal gramma
2 chromis
1 flame angelfish
1 starfish
2 bengal cardinals
3 kole tangs
2 moorish Idols
2 copperband butterfly fish

The fish still alive:

3 ocellaris clownfish
1 blue hippo tang
1 yellow tang
1 australian flathead perch
2 flame hawkfish
1 clown tang
1 coral beauty
2 six line wrasse

Ammonia 0
Nitrate 2
pH 8.3
Alk 9.9
Cal 428
Phos 0.02
Temp 78.3

Anyone know the reason for their death?

You will need to provide more info than that. Lets see if we can get this moved to the disease forum and get some more eyes on it. In the meantime, check out the stickies in the disease forum and see what info you will be asked for. #MODS

So sorry for your loss.
How long has it been since you introduced a new fish?
+1. I believe that there is some kind of protozoan illness in the tank, such as velvet or brooklynella. Any new fish, coral, or invert has the potential of bringing in a parasite. If you’ve introduced anything new in the past few days, that’s your answer.

How are the fish that lived doing? Without knowing more I would guess it was due to a power outage and lack of oxygen.

As many have mentioned before the more information you can provide the better. I can see based on some of your other posts in very old threads and understandably so your looking to connect the dots to what has happened.

How old is the tank?
How long has it been cycled?
What size tank? 27 fish is a lot of fish and there are some difficult ones mixed in there.
How long in between adding fish?
Quarantine the fish? ( warning this one will bring the heat)

I saw some white spots on the flame angelfish and the royal gramma

Tank since 2014
Forgot last time I cycled it
Tank size is 160 gallon
I added my first two fish (the starfish and royal gramma) a few days after I bought the tank
