Currently I've got it in a tank with 2 damsels, a chromis, and a freshwater molly (oddly the Molly and one damsel have disappeared...) but I'm wondering if there is anything I can put in there that he won't destroy (even Powerheads and large live rocks aren't safe). I'm pretty sure fish are out of the question, how about inverts? I have a green brittle starfish I'd like to try out, or maybe a chocolate chip starfish? When I bought the crab he was in a tank with 2 smaller marine giant hermits but I don't have space for 2 giant crabs. Anything you guys can think of that he'll get along with (or that will stay safe up high in the tank at all times)?

Seems like a lot of people out there have had the same questions as you but not a very definitive answer. Good luck with it!

Thanks for the link, some good info. They were claiming theirs didn't bother fish, mine is definately a fish eater...
He looks a handsome specimen, and great pictures, but I’m not sure I’d trust him with fish, or anything ‘edible’ especially at night!

I don't think there is anything that could live safe and sound with one of those. Be sure you have a well fitting lid for the aquarium. I had to pull one out of the toilet once.Funny story.

They are so pretty i have one too last night he ate my sand sifting star

Let see some pics! Ya, anyone in my crab tank is considered on the menu. But damsels seem to do a good job at staying away.
