So found a good deal on a marine land pro 24 inch 150 watt metal halide with 4 24 watt t5 fixture. Would I get noticably better color and growth from my current reef breeder photon 24 fixture? Any draw back changing from LED to MH?
Anyone have any experience with this marineland pro fixture? Seems nice 1 power cord and a digital timer for the MH t5 and led.

This is for my deep blue 30 shallow BTW

Also looking at the Radion xr15pro. Any thoughts on this? Or just stop making excuses to "upgrade" the RB photon is fine?

Save your money and stick with reefbreeders. Follow their light schedule on their website and you should be all set.

ok will do. Ill have to find the light schedule on the site.
the switch would cost me very minimally just because I have someone who wants my fixture and the marineland I can get for not much more.

Not only that you will need to buy bulb replacements

Ya I hate replacing bulbs, I was worried about that tony. What about a better quality fixture like the XR15 Pro are they better or just cooler features?
