Next to the "Report" button there's usually a "..." With an arrow. Click that and you should see Edit.

Wait I’m definitely not qualified for this one lol. I don’t know enough to offer fantastic advice, like the other nominees not a beautiful full reef that is awe inspiring.
None of that matters. Just enter. It's not about the tank or the dream so much as the person. You're a super kind and super giving person!

Build thread:
Thread 'One of many!'

Tanks name: River’s Reef
How would I describe my dream aquarium? My dream aquarium would be a larger 500+ Gallon, custom rock, large negative space, and plenty of corals. My ultimate goal is to have a large mixed reef with a lot of colonies of many types. Fish wise, I would want to have a mix of tangs, clowns, etc. I cant forget to add pink as it is my wife’s favorite thing about the hobby, happy wife happy life! In all my dream tank would just be one I could enjoy with my family and soon to be son, hoping he picks it up as he gets older!

Name is John. It's so hard to find a picture of me, I have everyone else on my phone except myself.

The current tank is a 15 g 15x15x15 AIO, named HelloReef15.

It's got some GHA, but my kid loves it, and my wife likes the fish.

Here's the build thread.

Dream Tank - My dream tank will be a 72" long x 24" high x 30" deep mixed reef tank. I have the spot picked out for it at home and as we have been doing construction on our 1886 Victorian farmhouse, I have added small things to make future install of the tank easy, such as 1/4" water line in the wall to the basement, wood blocking for lights, outlets at the ceiling, independent circuit behind the tank, supports in the basement, and more. I had been out of the hobby for a while and really wanted to come back and do it once and do it right. We weren't ready for it yet, but a beta tank in November of 2023 started it all. This summer the HelloReef 15 got setup thanks to TSA, and now I am working on figuring out and collecting everything I will need for my dream tank.

I think the hardest part was deciding on a size for the dream tank. I wanted it to have plenty of room for fish and coral, but also wanted to be able to work on it without needing scuba gear. After much reading and input from a lot of new friends on R2R, I decided to flip the dimensions on their side and go 24" high, allowing for lighting and reach, and 30" wide so I can get that space.

Don't worry @Slocke , with my 10-step program you'll have an extremely verbose, non-AI winning entry next month. Just send over those SSN and CC numbers, place of birth and your favorite pet's name, and we'll get you on the fast track to success!

So, I suppose I’ll participate this time since I was nominated :) I’m definitely not as skilled as a lot of people here. However I do dream to have an amazing thriving reef.

The tank that I’ll speak about is the one in my build thread. “Luck be a Lady” as coined by a member here. This is the very tank that was a generous giveaway and is lit by another generous giveaway. It’s a Waterbox 70.2 system lit by an Orphek Natura icon. It’s in the beginning stages of a redo.

My ideal setup for this will be some lovely acropora, and maybe, just maybe a clam. I mean why not? The light should support it. Still researching fish and other corals and equipment that will go great with this.

I want some color. Some flash. Some semblance of peace and tranquility. After all this is my happy place. Where I can just glance over from the couch or go sit beside it. The main talking point of people who my dog allows inside the house lol.

I’m always grateful to any of the more experienced members here to say “that’s not gonna work” or “ Have you thought of this?” Too many of you to name and I’m not great at tagging lol.

Oh but pics are what we all want yes? So here is me, and Melody. (I’m very self conscious, so I don’t have many pics of me.

But even more important here is a brand new, never before seen(except in the build thread) pic of “Luck be a Lady” tank. She’s full, she’s salty, she’s lit. She’s also very empty currently but the possibilities are (almost) endless :D

Look at me forgetting the build thread link lol. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/luck-be-a-lady.644130/page-56#post-12348743

Bumping this up!
Not that I'm disagreeable to bumping the thread but the submission deadline passed I thought? Almost time for the voting thread.
