Cycle is complete, have zero nitrite and zero ammonia, I add some turbo start 900 Saturday to help and it worked great. I have major diatoms because I have had the lights on for 2 weeks now but will put in an order for a clean up crew and will add the remaining fish and inverts from my 72 gallon tank in this Sunday. I also have some pods coming today.

Hello everyone, just a quick update. I am working to get my neglected corals back on track and working on the tank to get it where we all want it. I am about to set up a alkatronic that a bought used and my algae scrubber is starting to grow algae.

Hi guys, just a quick update. I am just letting the tank settle in. The tank has cleared up and my neglected corals are starting to open up. I also had an accident in the tank Saturday. I was removing the skimmer and hit the return hose, knocked it off the return pump and had water spraying every where. The hydros saved me with the leak detector. All is well now was able to clean up and only lost about a full bucket of water.

Oh no! Which end popped off? That's awesome that you had a redundancy to catch the issue before the pump ran dry. Now I am paranoid  and now looking for my redundancy.

The end that connects to the pump. It was my fault, I did not secure it as tight as I thought and when removing the skimmer it got tangled in it and water every where. The hydros saved my but, great controller.

Added 5 green cromis to the tank a few days ago, my plan is to add the peaceful fish first with the most aggressive fish going in last. I am still working out my fish list and will post in a few days.

Hi quick update, I have added 3 new fish to the tank, a one spot goby, a bye color goby and a midus blenny all came from liveaquaria. The midus blenny was great for 2 weeks and then just disappeared. The other two gobies have staked out their territory and fight when the other one comes into it. I am thinking of what to add next and will develop my stocking list soon.

Update time. It has been a while since I last updated the thread. So what has happened,
1: I got a scope tang, and then lost the scope tang, I don't know why he died he was eating and looking great and then stopped eating and was dead the next day.
2: I have gotten some more corals from aquasd's ebay store. All but one zoa frag are doing great.
3: got a pistol shrimp to go with my watchman gobie, and they connected right away and are living together.
4: first sign of coraline algae is showing up on my rock work.
So what do I have planned for the near future.
I want to get a couple of yellow tangs and a purple tang, some wrasse's and maybe a few small fish.
Now some pictures.
