Since I'm new to this forum I would like to share my current build it's 225g by DeepSea Aquatics

Tank 1 inch glass
72inx36x20 3 sides starphire glass 2 returns x 5 1inch holes for CL )
Skimmer ELOS NS4000
Lightning ATI 6x80HO ( DIY Upgrade in a few months)
Flow Tunze's 6105x2 + snapper for return and dart with OM4 for CL

Day 1 tank Stand Repair damaged due to sun exposure

This took a few months to complete since I get a few hours a week to work on the tank.

Things are slow... Anyways got a welder come in and made me a stand for the salt water mixing station its Galvanized steel and will be coated with some herculiner or just some paint... Should I still coat it or just plain galvanized steel is fine?

Nice BMX!

Coat with something heavy and hard!!

The zinc oxidizes and the steel rusts underneath...good long term but will eventually degrade.
