Mature tank, no chemicals, how did YOU beat Cyano?

Had always cyano on my sand bed.
Tried everything... Kz cyanoclean-coral snow,all sorts of bacs ...
2 times it worked with honey , but 3 time it did not work anymore.

THEN i bought the biggest soching oxydator and placed it in the sump.
After 3 weeks the cyano went away and never had cyano again to mention.
Using it for 3-4 years now ,tank is 11 years

Not familiar with the oxydator you speak of. Sounds interesting. Could you explain further?
