So I'm afraid I may have encroached on the territory of a torch coral when I placed my Stylopora.

Stylo looked fine the first month but I noticed this large white mark earlier this week.

Is the coral likely being stung, or is it possibly a different issue?

Moving the stylo just in case, but was hoping to get some insight from you guys. Photos attached.

Thanks!

Weird to say but hopefully it was getting stung and it wasn't another health issue.

I moved it to the ledge above where it will also get more light and direct flow.

Stung, my hammer killed half of my favia. It would look fine in the day but middle of the night it would stretch out its tentacles all skinny and grab onto the favia :O
