Randomly decided today to buy Radions LOL. Got a killer deal on these open box G6 XR15’s and according to my par meter, they’re quite a bit stronger than my Maxspect. Quick picture without any filters in the lens.

Also a little livestock update! Picked up some new fish the last 2 weeks. Added a bornonius anthias, lamarcks Angel, and two spot candy hogfish (more pics to come, everyone but the anthias are being shy).

Also a few pics of my favs that are living the new tank! My white tail kole has become much more active.

Not much in terms of updates on the tank, not much has changed. Plan on plumbing in my UV this weekend (it’s been temporarily plumbed the last week and I’m not happy with how it looks).

Here’s some livestock/coral pics to hold y’all over. Phosphates are still high, but slowly coming down with small water changes & running phos pads.

Little update I suppose: I’ve been battling phosphate issues the last couple weeks. About 3 weeks ago, I accidentally dumped about 1/2 a container of hatchery diet into the tank (wasn’t paying attention and the lid was loose).

Did an immediate WC to vacuum as much as possible BUT it still spiked the phos and nitrates way up. However I’ve been doing 30 gallon changes weekly and using phos pads and were in a lot better shape!

Another small update: my Wantanabei Angel came into my lfs and began the quarantine process 10 days ago…fingers cross everything goes well so I can bring him home in a couple weeks. In the mean time, FTS!

Me too! Between my Swallowtail, Lamarcks, and now the Watanabei...all I have left to get is a Bellus. My LFS has been trying to order me one for 2 months with no luck.
