I have a Melanurus in quarantine right now. For the first week, I fed all of my fish general cure soaked food with focus.

Fast forward to this week, and I started general cure in the water. My plans were to wrap up around a week and dose again. After, I'd start a 14 day copper power with TTM.

For the past 2 days, the Melanurus has stopped eating. I'm wondering if the combo of meds for internal and external is too much? He's not showing any signs of being lethargic really...he's just wandering around as usual ignoring food. Prior to this, he was literally gulping pe mysis.

All of my other fish are doing okay, and all have been eating fine.

Any idea if I should be worried or if I should just wait and see?

I've considered a water change, and ammonia badge shows 0.

Could be too many meds being dumped on him. Every chemical a fish is exposed to the liver & kidneys has to filter. He may just need to detox a little.

Gotcha! I'll do a large water change this evening.

Upon arrival he had stringy white poop, so that's why I decided to feed general cure.

Could also be the concentration of the metro soaked food. I've had fish that wouldn't eat the food soaked with meds. I lightened up the dosage to a half dose and they started eating it.

You could try food with no meds and see what happens as well.
