Pretty much as the title says. I have a 150 gallon tank and i just saw this beautiful Halichoeres melanurus wrasse. Do you think it would be ok to buy one if i have a yellow coris wrasse already?

FWIW.....
If I was to do it again, I don't think I would add the 2 together. It's working for me at the moment, but I have no idea how long till the Mel gets fed up with the corris's carp and just outright kills it to take over the position of tank boss.
The Mel and corris about the same size as adults, but my Mel is much more muscular then the corris and I'm pretty sure could kill the corris whenever he feels the need to.
Yes, this is a good idea to keep him in a acclimation box. I will do that if i decide to get one. How long to you keep it in there before you release? A week?I cannot say enough about an acclimation box.
It's an absolute must when introducing wrasses to an already established tank full of wrasses.
My current "wrasse gang" consists of a yellow corris, red corris, melanarus, black leopard, long finned fairy, ornate leopard, and an exquisite fairy.
I love my wrasses as you can see. lol
Do you have any PODs/ good critters surviving in your tank with the wrasses you have?I cannot say enough about an acclimation box.
