Well I moved out about two years ago. When I bought the bird it was for my little brother as a gift but he didn’t really take care of it so once I moved out it wasn’t getting the love it deserved. My new place isn’t big enough for the grey and my two massive dogs which are quite intense so they sold it.
That is really sad, for the bird, too.

This is us right now.
Love days off, and I can spend all day with them.

Sort of. We're working on it.
If you’re working on it, I’m guessing Carrot has pooped a few times when his lower half was in your shirt?:grinning-squinting-face:

Ever see a bird person try and catch the poop before it hits something besides your hand? LOL
I’ve done that more times than I can count. It’s easy and not gross at all. It’s just plant fertilizer. Lol

Absolutely not!
Carrot is a lady and uses the powder room.
Pickle, however, is a different story. Rainbow lorikeets eat nectar/fruit so things that are runny going in....... You don't hold pickle until you've seen him do his thing first.

I’ve been able to train Blueberry to poop right when she comes out of the change so she is good for a few minutes then back again if she needs to. Remy is, a different…messier story…

Cheese wearing his flight harness. He’s too pure for this world.

The courts put one of those on me because they said I was a flight risk. I hope yours works better than the one they put on me!

How easy was it to put on him? My birds hate them.
It was easy because he’s still a baby. He’s soooooo tame! He loves me.

I’m working with positive reinforcement. I put the harness on and cuddle him and then take it off. I never went outside yet; I want him to get fully confident with it first.

Thank you, Erin!

@OrchidMiss Does Carrot (your sun conure) like his cage?

Cheese doesn’t like to be caged. He’s still a little clumsy, and he thrashes around because he wants me to take him out.
