Microscope pics. Dino or Cyno or both?

Got my microscope today. Love this thing already.

took lots of pics. I’m pretty sure the stingy stuff is Cyno. But there are two different rice looking things that swim around. One is pointed on both sides and the other has pinchers on one side.

The object circled in red looks like dinos, and I see diatoms in the pictures too.

Here's a good guide for the types of dinos.


I have never had cyano,, so hopefully someone with experience can chime in. I would google cyano microscope pics and compare.

I think it’s Cyno. The rice looking stuff I believe is diatoms

going to need to get more samples if I have Dino’s. It’s a small amount at the moment. Cyno is the stringy stuff I pulled out

this is correct. Dominant organism is typical cyano. A few diatom cells there as well.
