Might Jet With E5 Error

My Mighty Jet has no issues while running but once I place it on feeding mode, it will not turn back on and give an E5 error code. I looked into this and E5 means seized propeller. If I unplug the pump and plug it back in, it will then turn back on as normal. I just recently cleaned the impeller. I have seen that people put some type of petroleum jelly on the magnetic part of the impeller. What are your thoughts on that or other solutions?

Same…this is my 3rd MightyJet in less than 3 years. They’re trash.

What did you end up doing? Just buying a new one? That’s what I ended up doing.

It’s under a year so warranty covers it. But since I need it now…I ordered it on Amazon and will return once I get my replacement from IM.

I bought mine used. I am not sure how old it is but I did buy one on Amazon also. I called IM and left a message but I have not heard back from them yet.

IM got back to me and send me these instructions. It hasn’t seemed to help. My problem isn’t so much noise, my pump is noisy, but the impeller not starting up after stopping.
