Mikes 75g Mixed Reef- New Hobby

Hello everyone. I have recently picked up a similar hobby we all share and so far I'm loving it. Its relaxing and rewarding. I am a maintenance man at Days Inn and have this build set up in the lobby. I started this build back in July, with what I thought a good idea, a used 105g w/ stand. BAD CHOICE. December 7th, the bottom seal decided to pop which caused a HUGE mess. In that crisis, being i live in the mountains, there are not many choices in case of emergency as far as options. I bought a 75g Marineland w/stand from PetSmart. I did not loose any life during that crisis so I would like to think I'm fortunate. Since then I have been on a heck of a journey and would like to share and continue to share this with all of you. Hope we can enjoy this hobby together and look forward to each others advice. Here is a few pics from the beginning and I will be posting more in the next few days to come!

Update 2/4/21

So things are going pretty good. Got a dosing pump now and Klir DI-4 and live both of them. Parameters are stable and have a few new editions. Purple Jade Bonsai Acro, Forest Fire Monti Stellar Stylo and Purple Knobby Gorgian. Loving the fact of not having to clean filter sock now pr add chemicals everyday. Things are great and be back soon with update.

This is a shot in daytime. I have a piece of strawberry acro that almost died and has seem to come back. Taking awhile but uts coming. I also have shown growth at a decent rate with my 2 t5 lights and 48in DUAL current ic pros. Have have been told this isn't a good light choice but I will have to say my corals speak differently.

Hey everyone. Quick update. Loving my Klir filter. I swear one of the best investments of you work alot. My SSC acro is coming back. Very excited about that. I have before and after pictures from 4 weeks of progress on that. I was told I don't have sufficient lighting, which may be true, but I am seeing progress health and stability so of it isn't broke don't fix it atm. I also have included a daytime pic as of today of my build. Really excited moving forward and finally get to really sit and enjoy things as I watch the progress through the next months to come. UPDATE

Things are voting together and stable now. I have since added a Coralife Uv x3 another phosban reactor running two little fishies cdx as co2 scrubber to boost the pH and running the new Seachem Tidal 110. The Aquaticlife T5 Hybrid is great! Best lighting for situation I had running the Current IC PRO Dual bars. Everything is great and I'm now enjoying my tank with little maintenance. The Klir filter roller has helped me cut way back on maintenance!

Also, update on strawberry shortcake acro.... much of its color is coming back just waiting on the green 2 come back! Been a long process but I do believe I saved this frag!
