Just curious, do you have a basement? I am setting up my 525 XL right now as well and am wondering if I need to be looking at supporting the rafters in the basement. Mine is going to be against a foundation wall so I'm a little less concerned, but just curious as to your situation.

Just re-reading some posts and realized you are setting up a 525xl now as well! That’s awesome! Do you have a build thread? If so, please share! If not, start one!

Got the plumbing installed last night. Pretty straight forward. Put some water in the overflow box to sit overnight. No leaks this morning.
Next step is to transfer the aquascape into the tank.

Tank is looking great, I can't wait to see how you like the RazorX!

I had the prior Razor on my IM30L and liked it. This one has a better spectrum and controls. My wife and I both like the modern look as well above the tank.

I’m anxious to get it up and running and using the seneye to set the spectrum and par.

I personally wouldn’t use light while cycling. Just inhabitants unwelcome algae growth.

Just read through, NICE looking tank ! ! ! :):)

I like the scape :)

Leave it to shipping company to not properly tie down their load.... Glad tank was OK and everything worked out. ;)

Thanks! I’m ready to start adding livestock and bring some life to it!

Just started my cycle as well! Glad everything turned out good for you on the start up.

Thanks mjlash22. Following yours as well and you have made great progress. I like the way you are doing things, especially your plumbing. Maybe I will do that someday if I get the gumption! Starting up a tank is a lot of fun. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am! And I’m really liking the 525xl a lot!
