This sunset milli has been going down hill for a month now. I noticed these two critters/scares tonight. Any idea what it is? Thanks in advance!

If they have 2 antannae sticking out, it's a barnacle. Is that what you see?

Maybe it was a barnacle. I have never seen it on a sps like that. Either way, I just fragged it off. We will see how it recovers!

If it was a barnacle, super glue over the opening will work too I've heard. But I get them regularly from maricultured pieces. The coral will try and over grow it, but I haven't seen them enough to know if it's successful. Now vermetid snails definetly lose over corals, but these burrow into the coral willingly, so I'm apt to think they're prepared for battle.
