Hi everyone! I am going to be setting up a 2 gallon jar with - among other things - zoanthids. Can I put multiple zoanthid colors in the tank without issue? Also, will the zoanthids sting a gorgonian and a mushroom coral? Finally, what should I tell my friend I am giving the jar to so that he does not get palytoxin poisoning? Thanks :)

Yes you can add multiple zoas. Zoas are peaceful coral. You can’t get palytoxin poisoning unless you sniff a freshly fraged zoa or boil a rock with zoas on it .

Just keep you slower grower separates from super fast growing Paly’s. May want to research a bit as your stocking up. Most lfs or vendor will have the answers. I like to isolate some of the super fast growers to an island for they can over run some smaller zoa’s. I mix a lot of Zoa’s in my 180. Check out my build thread. I got a few.
