Mobius to G5 comnection issues

I’m having trouble connecting to my XR30 G5 as well. Mobius says there is a firmware update, but every time I try to run it, I get a “Request Timed Out” error.
I had this same issue on mine I deleted the app and reinstalled although mine looked to be updated the new install looked different and all my issues went away.

How do you do this? Is it through Mobius?
Once you updated thru Mobius it was available on G5 lights. You turn it on thru Mobius.

Sorry to bother you again on this but I don’t see a function on the Mobius App to enable WiFi on the G5 lights?

Try under settings, if available it will look this.

I'm guessing wifi is only available to later model G5 lights. I got mine early last year and even after updating them it isn't available. I'm sure G6 now has it too.

My second G5 Pro has the problem with a ? As part of the serial number in Mobius. A few months ago Ecotech replaced another G5 with the same issue. I wonder if they have a known bad batch of chips that went into some of these lights.

I am having the same problem.....can't getting the G5's to connect to the APP. I had one replaced already due to this but even that one is sporadically connecting......

I was in the middle of an acclimation period and have one light thats a different intensity than the other two. Really disappointing for such costly lights.

Honestly, if there was an 8-bulb T5 fixture available right now I'd buy one just for the lack of hassle.
