I have an acrylic tank and have been wondering whats a good way to clean them. I feel like the scrubber will only scratch the crap outta them. When I bought it I had to wet sand and polish it. Took a few hours, its an 8ft tank

magic eraser is nothing but a disintegrating plastic material. I think it may be poly propylene. I have never sheen them with perfume in them. I have the following materials in my arsenal.

INSIDE the Aquarium
General cleaning
Mag cleaner with magic eraser sheets
Mag cleaner with white acrylic safe scrubbie thingie
Once a week armpit dunk to clean sides of aquarium with dobie

"high strength cleaning" (coraline)
Plastic pot scrubby
Dobie sponge
Weird plastic-ish dish rag from amazon.

OUTSIDE
microfiber rag or towel to completely dry
Spritz with novus 1 and fresh microfiber for final polish

Things that WILL scratch your acrylic
3m green scotch bright pads
Anything metal
Sand
Bragging that your acrylic tank doesn't have any scratches

Thank you again for the feedback - assume this is the Dobie Sponge you mentioned...

That would be it. The sponge is covered by a nylon and polypropylene mesh that has sharp edges. I have been trying to find a source for it and have been unsuccessful. One word of caution, the doobie actually does scratch the acrylic but only very very very lightly. I had been using them for years and someome told me they scratch and i said..no they dont been using for years..

So i went out to the garage and went to town on a scrap piece of acrylic. I mean, really went to town and you could see the fogging. Filled with water though you cant see them.

Anywho. I should take a picture of the tank. Been going crazy with the wrasses in the last couple months.
Leapord wrasse
Labout's wrasse
Male pintail
Yellow chested twist wrasse
Scotts fairy wrasse
Yellow tailed tammaron
Carpenters flasher
Exquisite fairy wrasse
Pink margin wrass
And a china wrasse

I really need to stay away from the fish store. Lol

I second the picture notion, however I disagree with staying away from the LFS ;)

My Leapord Wrasse is not a model citizen - thinking about re-homing when I change tanks over. Beautiful fish but just not a friendly ****. I'd like to have a few Wrasses and this is the only way it's gonna happen.

I spent my evening trying to figure out why my one way valve on my co2 line wont work.

Sent BRS an email basically saying.. hey I bought this $20 one way valve 4 months ago and its broke.. i dont know if it has a warranty but i spent $14,321 at BRS in the last 3 years..so maybe just mail me one?

And no, I have no idea where all that money went to..
