Title says it all. Nuvo Fusion 20 mixed reef. I've had it running about 2 years. About 9 months ago I had a monti eating nudi outbreak and lost all my sps so I lost interest also. But about 2 months ago I started to want to bring it back to its glory.
Started with really high po4. It was off the chart on api. After many many many water changes I got it to 1 ppm on Ali so I got a Hanna. I dosed phosphate rx only 3 drops every 3 days and got it to .04 within 2 weeks. I have a Algae reactor with ulva so that is cleaned every 2 weeks. Chemi pure blue and puregin in right chamber and matrix in left. I feed heavy for my janss pipefish which eats any frozen given. 20% water change every week and 1 drop of phosphate rx in my im desktop ghost skimmer. Nitrates are a little high at 20 ppm but I'm seeding new matrix. Cal 420 kh try to keep it 8.
Lookin forward to the new year and getting her up to par with what it was.

This was the tank in its prime. If you look close on that green monti in the lower part of the pic it's the beginning of the nudi attack to my sps. It's discolored white and I had no idea why. There is a dying wild monti in the right back side I believe was the culprit. I had no idea as I was still new to the hobby☹

So my house gets cold and today my tank was reading 80 but sure enough I double checked with another probe and that read 74. I try for 79. The problem was the finnex heater doesn't stay below the water line for accurate readings in my 2nd chamber. I pulled both my pumps from the back wall and slid my much larger titanium finnex in below them. I hooked it up to a hydrofarm temperature controller for heat mats. It's surprisingly accurate and has a titanium probe. I set it to 78 and my finnex to 79 for a double safe.

I also added a pp4 for more flow with my rw4 cause the left side of the tanks rock was collecting ditrius. It's something that has been needed for a long time

Very impressive what you have done with your Nuvo 20.

Could you please share what equipment you are using?

Salt mix, dosing regimen , tips , etc

My nuvo 20 has been up since mid October.
