Today’s post is about integration of reef aquariums as elegant, creative, serene and even striking decorative pieces, and how clients included Orphek Atlantik iCon in their projects.
Reef tanks & interior design
Although there are many ways to create ambiance, divide, design and decorate the interior of a home, there is nothing more inspirational and elevating than a reef aquascape aquarium as reef tanks introduce nature to the space. A story told by living, breathing life.
We chose among many many pictures, the ones we felt that showcases elegance and skills.
Aquascaping minimalism
As you all know aquascaping a saltwater reef tank is not an easy hobby, but once you get it, there are endless possibilities of layouts, from small to exquisite large tanks.
For starters, the most important thing above all is setting up a marine aquarium with high-quality healthy corals and proper lighting. In the past aquascapers used large amounts of live rock, but today modern reef aquaria takes a minimalist approach to its design.
We had been receiving many requests for our LED solutions from both aqua and reefscaping hobbyist eager to upgrade their high-end tanks.

Stanley Kubrick’s spaceship?

In this is an ambient light sources were chosen both carefully and professionally, playing a key role in the decor, as it was used to create an exquisite atmosphere (you can see that for the fact that the spaces are lighted by many kind of light sources and shapes).

In this project client placed the reef tank in a corner of the room dividing spaces. The aquarium contains a vast number of corals providing a more complex and dominating piece of decor to a minimalistic general interior design.
Four Orphek Atlantik units were totally integrated in the living room placed inside a customized centerpiece structure resulting in an elegant finishing to the project.

In this second project you can also see the development of the tank where the base is placed in the empty tank and later, with all corals place and thriving beautifully.
2 units of Atlantik icon combined with 3 OR3 LED Bars is over this amazing celebrity L shaped tank comes from Bangkok, Thailand, belonging to Mr. Tang Go. ( aka @thank_space)
His amazing aquascape reef tank has 2 branching structures where corals were placed, and he added some around them on floor level.
