I'm trying to move a 180G fish tank to another room. It's 3/4" glass so pretty heavy. When the tank was new, we had 4 guys that could barely lift this thing into a cart that I made. Once that was done, we could move it to the location.

I called a few local companies to get a quote. One wanted $3K to move with livestock, or $1500 to just do the physical move and I handle the water and livestock. Sounds a bit high.

I called another guy that said he has a helper and him and helper could do full tank move for $500 (including water change and everything).. Sounds way too low and impossible for two guys to lift the tank.

Location is San DIego.

Anyone have a recommendation on who could do this at a reasonable price and can actually do it?

I contacted a few moving companies that said they do "heavy lifting" and all said they wont touch the tank. lol
