So after getting the quiet drives I finally got the chance to run a standing wave on my 150 cube. Recently had a flood in the basement and removed the carpet to find the stand had moved off the pad of self leveling concrete I had poured. That's a lot of weight for a 38 watt pump to move!

Guesstimating around 1200+ pounds, that’s really hard for me to believe it moved.

Are you sure you didn’t center the stand, and the trim that was added is just overhanging?

I mean I heard before standing waves can cause pressure build up inside the tank and could lead to cracks, breakage and leaks. But moving an entire aquarium of that size…. I mean that would be a feet.

I've run a wave on my deep blue frag tank with a DIY 2×4 stand and after a few weeks the whole thing was moving back and forth with the wave so I had to add braces. I'm 100% sure it was centered when I filled it years ago, the tank itself is around 200lbs and bumping it before filling wouldn't have budged it. I don't see any other reason it could have moved and was kinda hoping someone would have some trick to moving it back other than draining, and lifting the whole thing over.

And thanks for the compliments!
