This eclectus had a large baby but the mom's foot went over the baby's foot so I wasn't about to frag it off the plug. I decided to mount it to my rock work and the mom developed what I thought was a hole. Then it got bigger and started looking like it was tearing.
Now that its fully torn it appears that the shrooms have merged. I don't know if you can tell from the pic but the skirts appear to be fully merged and it's like a shroom with 2 mouths. Ever seen this happen? I've been reading for about 12 years but im.not really a shroom guy.

Hi @rogersb

What happened is they grew together. It looks like it has 2 mouths now, Kinda fused or grafted.

Here’s a good vid to help. I would look to frag it to get it more room to grow. It looks great.

Really cool you can see the mushrooms merge into ones self. Never seen that before.
Looks like almost one mouth now?
