Hi!
I've created a sump design and would like some feedback on it. Pardon me for cramping the drawing a bit. Hope it's readable enough and not an eyesore. It has following 4 chambers:
1) Protein Skimmer
2) Ceramic Rings, Pot Scrubbers(Scrubbies Affectionately) and maybe Activated Carbon
3) Refugium - Chaetos, Live Rocks, Shallow Sand Bed
4) Return Pump

Specifically, I'd like feedback on these points:
1. Is the design good and flow of water constant and perfect? Would you suggest some flaws and improvements, if any.
2. Is the placement of various constituents like the ceramic rings, scrubbies etc. correct or can they be placed in a better manner?
3. How to maintain constant inflow of water in the last(pump) chamber, so the pump doesn't run dry?
4. What can I do for mechanical filtration besides the skimmer? I'd like to place a piece of sponge and some filter floss somewhere.
5. Before the pump chamber, there is a 1 inch wide bubble trap of 2 panes, is it sufficient, or 3 panes are needed?

Anything else is welcome. Thanks.

I moved some things around to give you flow. Your skimmer usually sits in 6 " of water to properly skim so the baffles are now at 6" sump is supposed to be skimmer:oops:

Ok I understood. Looks good to me. I'll alter the design accordingly. Thanks.

Can anybody else provide their views too? This is my first sump, and I'd like to make it as good as possible.
