100 Cadlights Rimless & 80 Rimless Frag Tank Build - SPS Heavy #SlowAndSteady

Picked up two frags. A Walt Disney and a UC Dippin Dots, both taken with Google Pixel XL3 and Polyplab Lens V2. The first set of photos are just t-5's, the second just XHO's straight blue.

Just need a UV Sterilizer, new t5 bulbs and the coral collection will begin.

I can't say enough good things about this Reef Octopus Elite 200 skimmer, set to pull dry and is getting nice dark thick skimmate out of it.

Working on some algae issues at the moment and have a 40 watt Pentair Aquatics UV Sterilizer coming in the next few days.

Just received my Geo CaRX last week in the mail.

Going to Home Depot in the morning to get some lumber for a shelf to hold this to the left of the frag tank along with the FX-STP.

Question about your plumbing on cadlights 100 . Do you have 2 or 3 drilled holes ? I bought a used one and only came with 2 . 2” and 1.5” holes. I’m trying to figure out the plumbing. My old setup has three and third one for safety overflow

Mine has 3 holes. I couldn't tell you the sizes at this point in time. I capped one of them and use one as a drain and the other for a return.

Wow, it's been some time since I've updated here. Where to begin, had some ballasts die in my t5's over the frag tank. Local hobbyist/friend had some gen 4 xr30 pros for too good of a deal to pass up. Got those hung by my buddy @CNDReef , made a nice frag rack out of leftover acrylic and a step drill bit.

Been pruning corals and torches as they've started to overgrow the display. Frag tank started leaking somewhere behind the trim and thankfully a local club member had one for sale that is the same dimensions. He orchestrated the sale while on vacation in the Bahamas. Got home late that night and had every plumbing part except the one I needed the most (1"Bulkhead), ordered a new one and will probably get that changed out from the one designed for tubing. I had to gerry rig it with a 1.25" vinyl tube over a 1" tube with zip ties, lol. Got me through though so that's all that matters. Some pics of the process:
Nice and clean Deep Blue Professional 80 rimless waiting to be carried in the house.

Draining the old 80 rimless to 27 gallon totes.

Starting to get some water in it.

FTS - Blues are ReefBrite 48" XHO

FTS - ATI Sunpower running 5 B+, 2 Coral+ and 1 P+

Having to dose P04 daily and trying to get the Geo CaRX dialed in again. All corals in the frag tank were out of the system for almost a full day and never throttled the calcium reactor back during that time. Still running Reef Moonshiners method and am happy with the results in coloration.
